First day in .. * Erster Tag in .. * Primer día en .. Bayrischzell
The conference ended on Friday afternoon. We went via Munich Central Station and further on with the "Bayrische Oberlandbahn" (BOB) to Bayrischzell. This is a little village in the pre-Alps of Oberbayern, next to the mountain Wendelstein (about 1800 m). Bayrischzell is 800 m high and the night was really cold (-10°C).
Die Konferenz endete am Freitag Nachmittag. Wir fuhren über München Hauptbahnhof und dann weiter mit der Bayrischen Oberlandbahn (BOB) nach Bayrischzell. Dies ist ein kleiner Ort in den Voralpen von Oberbayern, am Fuße des Berges Wendelstein (ca. 1800 m). Bayrischzell liegt auf 800 m Höhe und die Nacht war wirklich kalt (-10°C).
La conferencia terminó el viernes por la tarde. Asi que nos dirigimos a la estación central de München y de ahí continuamos con el "Bayrische Oberlandbahn" (BOB) hacia Bayrischzell, una pequeña villa en los pre-Alpes de Oberbayern. Junto a la montaña Wendelstein (aprox. 1800 m). Bayrischzell se localiza a 800 m de altura y por la noche estaba realmente frío (-10°C).

The next morning it was snowing heavily and we had a wonderful view outside from the breakfast table.
Am nächsten Morgen schneite es heftig. Vom Frühstückstisch hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick nach draußen.
La mañana siguiente estaba nevando muy fuerte. Desde la mesa teníamos una vista maravillosa.

The people in the mountains are used to snow. They have respective devices to remove it.
Die Leute in den Bergen sind Schnee gewohnt. Sie haben entsprechende Hilfsmittel um ihn zur Seite zu schaffen.
La gente en las montañas esta acostumbrada a la nieve. Ellos tienen las herramientas respectivas para removerla.

Luckily, we could borrow the sleigh from our landlords.
Glücklicherweise konnten wir den Schlitten von unseren Vermietern ausleihen.
Por suerte pudimos tomar prestado el trineo de nuestro rentero.

In any case, Leticia wanted to make a snowman. (If not, we cannot go back home.)
Leticia wollte unbedingt einen Schneemann bauen. (Wenn nicht, dann können wir nicht nach Hause fahren.)
Leticia quería hacer un mono de nieve a toda costa. (De otra forma, no podiamos volver a casa.)

To go down with the sleigh is nice, although it makes blue spots. But to go back up .... phew!
Mit dem Schlitten den Hang herunter zu fahren ist schön, auch wenn es zu blauen Flecken führt. Aber dann wieder hochgehen .... puh!
Deslizarse con el trineo es muy bonito, aunque hace moretones. Pero, el regreso de subida ... puh!
