Springtime 2005

On April 13th I invited friends and colleagues for a game evening. We had some nice snacks of little breads warmed up in the oven with cheese and ham, and then we started playing Ligretto.

Ligretto is very easy cared game, but you have to be very quick. There are four cards in front of you, three single ones and 1 as upper card in a pile of ten. You lay color on color and 2 on 1, 3 on 2, 4 on 3 and so on. And you try to get rid of your pile as soon as possible if the first 1 of a color is on the table. People all try to put their card very quickly on the pile where they fit. But very often two people have the same card and only the quickest can get rid of it. It is a funny game.

Finally in between we made waffles. Was really yummy. And Rosalin brought a honey melon we had as desert.

A few days letter (around April 15-17th) the Japanese cherry trees in our street started to be in blossom. They are just in front of my door. It is wonderful to go along by bike going to work or coming back home. The weather on the photo is perhaps not ideal, but realistic. ;-)
